Yo Rodeo Poster Co. is Seth Smith and Paul Hammond… the design/screenprint duo from Halifax, Nova Scotia. They’re known for their love of re-constructed patterns, clashing colours, bold graphic style and destruction of text and typefaces. Cutting their teeth primarily on screenprinted posters, they have since expanded their focus to include album art and packaging, t-shirt design, illustration, logos, fine art, not-so-fine art, and more. The team was voted “Best Visual Artist” two years running in The Coast’s Best Of Halifax Reader’s Poll, and recently was voted “Best Poster Artist” in the same poll.
