Who will be Ottawa’s hippest nerds or nerdiest hipsters? Let the battle begin!
This December Artengine, Canteen and Disorganized bring you another edition of last year’s excellent YouTube Battle.
Like a DJ battle, but probably way funnier, eight teams will face off in competition towards the title match. Matches consist of two teams, each with 3 minutes to show us their best on-line video finds. The audience decides which video is best and the winner proceeds to the next round. Our expert judge, Jeremy Bailey, will decide the winner in the event of tie.
So come early to everybody’s favorite monthly party and witness the debaucherous levels the ego driven clip surfing will get too. It’s gonna be awesome!

These H1N1 posters were subtly placed around Ottawa’s Byward Market a few days ago and hopefully some of you were lucky enough to read them (and snag one) before the rain got to them. The artist’s message is quite clear: stay far far away from this vaccine!!
Each poster (4 in total) combines solid graphic design with a different message about the “truth” behind the H1N1 vaccinination.
Word has it, high quality versions will be made available for anyone to download, print, and paste as they please! Talk about going “viral”.
